03 / CADCAPABILITY 03
CAD / Reverse Engineering
Turn an idea, drawing, or existing part into a practical CAD model. We help recreate components, refine designs, and prepare parts for production.
Applications
CAD Design
Create 3D designs from your sketches, dimensions, or project brief.
Reverse Engineering
Reconstruct existing parts as CAD models using measurements or 3D scan data.
Design for 3D Printing
Refine geometry, fit, and material choices so your design is ready to print.

FROM OUR WORKBENCH

Choosing the right 3D service
Do I need 3D printing, scanning or CAD design?
3D printing turns a digital model into a physical part. 3D scanning captures the shape of an existing object. CAD design creates or reconstructs a digital model that can be changed before production. A project can combine these services.
What should I include in a quote request?
Describe the intended use, dimensions, quantity and deadline. Mention an available model or explain whether you have a physical part to scan. Mention heat, outdoor exposure, flexibility or fit requirements so we can discuss the appropriate approach.
Is a 3D scan the same as an editable CAD model?
Not necessarily. A scan records surface geometry, while an editable CAD model may require reconstruction. Tell us whether you need a mesh for reproduction or a model for design changes, so the required deliverable can be agreed in the quote.
Where can I discuss my project?
JV3D Prints is based in Stabroek, Belgium. Use the contact page to describe your project and discuss printing, scanning or CAD / reverse engineering.
